Always remember when shooting food — have a back up or two. Saw this pastry in the store and had to shoot it, but only purchased one. Big mistake.
This was all shot with available light, with cards surrounding the sides and front to kick light back. Went to move one card and that’s when the cards came crashing down one after another. Awesome. The poor pastry didn’t stand a chance.
So only was able to get a handful of shots. Lesson learned.
