- Goodbye Charlie -

This morning Mike and I had to say goodbye to a friend.  The kind of friend who was always there to greet you at the door, to take away your worries and stresses of each day. Charlie, I will miss your 4am wake up calls for food.  The loud bellows of conversations throughout the day.  The house will be quite without you.  I will miss playtime. Sleep time.  Anytime.  I love you.  I am sorry we could not save you.  I will see you again handsome - that I can promise.
